Through it’s funding from various federal grants, the Center offers a wide range of safety training. The National Institute for Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) grant allows the Center to offer training in chemical emergency response to the consortium members who qualify. A scholarship can pay attendees a daily stipend, travel, and double occupancy lodging for participants that must travel more than 30 miles from their home to attend the training.
