Through it’s funding from the National Institute for Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) the Center offers training in chemical emergency response to the consortium members who qualify. A scholarship can pay attendees a daily stipend in lieu of wages lost, travel expenses approved by the Center director, and double occupancy lodging for participants that must travel more than 50 miles from their home to attend the training
